Thankful and Grateful...Every Day! by Matthew Linehan 11/27/2019

I don't have to wait until Thanksgiving every year to sit and contemplate what I am thankful for. First and foremost every single morning of every single day of the year and of my life I am thankful for you...Jesus Christ! I am thankful that I don't find it absolutely necessary to start my day off with a drink. Today I start it off with praise and gratitude. I am thankful that I have a brand new car in the driveway and I don't have to leave the house 2 hours before work starts to make sure I don't miss the bus. I am thankful for the options that I have when I open up the refrigerator. I am thankful that I have a refrigerator that I can eat food out of and not have to wait until a designated meal time. I am thankful that if I need to take medicine of any kind that I can go to my medicine cabinet and get it and not have to wait to designated med pass. I am thankful that I will be marrying the woman of my dreams in 2 weeks. I am thankful that she loves me for who I am, who God says I WILL BE and not for what I have done in the past. I am thankful for the praying, forgiving and loving family who stood by me through all the heartache, tragedy and pain that I caused them. I am thankful for sleeping in a bed...in a room...with a lock on the door that I can unlock at any time....and sleep alone in the room and not with 4 other guys who are snoring. I am thankful for the brothers that I have today who lift me up, say they love me and show me they love me by always being there for me and telling me what I need to hear and NOT what I want to hear. I am thankful for Stanley Access Technologies for believing in me and giving me a job, a career and a future! I am thankful for Lakewood Church and Pastor Joel Osteen for bringing a message of Hope each and every day and telling me that I am a Victor! A Victor and NOT A VICTIM! I am thankful for ALL the mentors that God has placed in my life who have never sugar coated anything but also never talked down to me! Thank you and you know who you are! I am thankful that God has placed me in Ministries that bring me hurting people every day and for saving my life and using me as an example of His Grace and Mercy! I am thankful for the Honor to serve in the United States Army and to risk my life for this beautiful country which I am honored to call my home. I am thankful for you Jesus Christ for making ALL of this possible. Thank you Jesus for saving my life! Thank you for giving me a life! Thank you! Thank you! Thank You! Jesus you are, always have been and always will be KING!

AMEN!
