God Picks Your Sobriety Date!

I am fully convinced that God picks your sobriety date. Until then He is still writing your Testimony of your struggles with drinking in order to help other people struggling to stay sober. After 7 failed treatment centers, working the 12 Steps at least 5 times, having countless sponsors, getting on my knees every morning and asking God to remove the compulsion to drink and still drinking alcohol, I am sure God is the Only One that can remove the compulsion to drink when He's ready! Now that I am finally completely healed and cured of the compulsion to drink and drug I can clearly see why I continued to relapse. Jesus Christ has a Purpose for each and every one of us. I believe my purpose right now is to share with other people who find that they cannot quit drinking and drugging how Jesus Christ saved my life. Believe me when I tell you that when I explain to someone my story they can see without a doubt the experience of pain and suffering in my eyes. If I would have gotten sober after my first treatment center in January of 2003 there would be a limited number of people that I could help. Now after 15 years of trying to get sober and 7 failed treatment center attempts people know that I have the credibility and the pain to go with my Testimony. My Testimony is actually Jesus' Testimony of His Grace and Mercy. Nothing or No One can bring you Eternity but Jesus Christ! I had to find that truth out the hard way but it is well worth it now. 

Thank you so much Jesus Christ for saving my life! I will forever be grateful for your Mercy and your Love. I will work the rest of my life to share my story with others who struggle in hopes that they too may find the truth in You and the Bible!
