Character Trumps Talent

Lately we have seen several professional sports athletes in the news. I have noticed that it doesn't matter how talented you are if you can't stay on the field due to off field issues then what does talent matter. I have a learned a valuable lesson in life...Character Trumps Talent! 

The world teaches us that the fastest and strongest dominate. This is true when it comes to several species. Look at the cheetah versus the gazelle. Look at "The Killer Whale" versus the seal or sea lion. I mean come on with a name like "The Killer Whale" what do we expect? However I am here to tell you that character will always outlast talent especially in God's Kingdom!

You don't have to look farther than David. When he went up against Goliath. He wasn't the biggest but he had a strong character.

In my own personal struggles...I thought I was on the ball. Even though I drank alcohol every day into oblivion I somehow managed to get up in the morning, put the suit one, and call on customers. I was a mess. Today, I live for Jesus. I try to help people every day and live a pure life. Since I have a good, clean character my work is so much easier.

Live Pure, Live well, stay humble, stay prayed up and see what happens!!!

God WILL reward you greater than you could ever have imagined.
